Jeep Tires and Wheels Fitment Guide
The following chart is intended to be used as
a guide only. Suspension lifts vary from manufacturer to
manufacturer and are normally given in nominal dimensions. For example,
a 4" Jeep Liberty lift kit purchased from one company may not
lift the vehicle the same exact amount as a Jeep Liberty lift kit
purchased from a different company. To further complicate matters,
how the vehicle is equipped (hard top versus no top) or the addition
of equipment (an example might be a front winch with heavy duty
bumper) will also affect the actual height that any kit raises the
vehicle, to some degree.
Just in case that was not enough of a challenge, Jeep
tires of the same designation (i.e. 33X12.50R15) from different
tire companies also vary slightly. And, lastly, there is the matter
of Jeep wheel width and offset. For these reasons we cannot accept
responsibility of guaranteed fit by solely using the chart below.
You must always check the actual fitment of your Jeep tires and
wheels package at the time of installation.

Replacing the wheels on your Jeep Liberty, Wrangler or Cherokee?
Give your Jeep a whole new look just by replacing
the wheels or plus size the tires and wheels to also improve performance.
While Jeep wheels are available off-the-rack, choosing
the right ones isn't as easy as it sounds. There are a number of
Jeep wheel essentials that should be taken into consideration including:
- Jeep Wheel diameter: the total wheel diameter
when measured from bead seat to bead seat (the position where
the tire rests and seals on the inside of the rim). This is
an especially critical essential to take into consideration
when changing or altering brake components.
- Wheel width: the width of the Jeep wheel,
measured from bead seat to bead seat (not edge to edge).
- Offset: the distance from the mounting pad
to the centerline of the Jeep wheel. This effects the Jeep's
steering response and steering stability.
- Backspacing: the distance from the inside
rim surface to the backside of the Jeep wheel mounting surface.
This measurement determines how far the wheel will stick into
or out of your Jeep's wheel well.
The Jeep wheel essentials we listed above are just
a few of the factors that impact the fitment of any Jeep tire and
rim combination that should be taken into consideration. Lynch Jeep
Store's certified service specialists will ensure you're getting
the right combination of Jeep tires and wheels at the time of installation.

Why drive without Fender Flares?
Nail one good mud puddle with your Jeep Cherokee
and you'll be convinced that adding fender flares to your Jeep
is a good thing!
Considered one of the most important accessories
you could add to your Jeep, fender flares not only give a tougher
look but also prevent the early onset of rust and corrosion. They'll
also help avoid getting other debris on your windshield and down
the sides of Jeep.
A fender flare is a raised section that is attached
over the wheel well, extending the body of your Jeep. If you're
thinking about installing larger wheels on your off-road Jeep,
then strongly consider adding fender flares at the same time to
provide additional coverage.
Are you among the many who enjoy topless, half-door
driving in your Jeep Wrangler? Add fender flares and avoid getting
a cabin full of water or a face bath.
